Do More With What You’ve Got

If there was one word that comes up as a common denominator in the
lives of many business people to-day it would be the word ENERGY -
or to be more accurate - the ‘lack of’ ENERGY.

- ‘Where do I get more energy?’

- ‘Where does energy come from?’

- ‘How can we get more of it?’

- ‘How do we proportion it out among workers, family and friends?’

These are common pleas from the frustrated worker or executive that
is already up to his/her neck in the pursuit of fun and profit.

As far back as the eighteenth century, the great scientist M. V.
Lomonosov formulated what he called the ‘Law of Conservation of
Substance or Matter.’

Today, we would expand that title to the ‘Law of Conservation and
Transformation of Energy and Matter.’

- Lomonosov concluded that not a single element in nature came into
being from nothing and it cannot disappear without leaving a trace.

- Matter can only be converted into other forms of matter.

It is a well known fact that energy also cannot be created or
destroyed.

Energy is merely converted from one form into another.

As ENERGY cannot be ‘created’ all we can do is conserve that which
we have and ensure that we absorb the highest quality and quantity
of energy through a knowledgeable lifestyle.

Unfortunately, at a time when the Law of Conservation of Energy is
more important than ever, we are guided toward a system of healing
that promotes stimulation in the form of tonics, pick-me-ups,
caffeine laced drinks, energy boosters, fast foods - all designed
to push the individual closer to the fast-approaching deadline.

In business terms this translates into getting more bang out of
your buck.

Health and Wealth are inside jobs.

Important Uses of Time Tracking Applications

Let’s take a look at certain scenarios that you might encounter in your business. Let’s say that your company has been operating for a number of years now without using a time tracking application. And now, a big client has come along, with the promise of very good income potential for your business. So you assign a good number of your people to handle the project, with the total manpower generating as much as 30 hours per day, all billable. And now it’s been six months since the project has begun and you haven’t billed a single cent. So what went wrong?

The glaring problem here is that without a reliable time tracking application in place, all the billable hours your employees have spent working on the client’s account will be difficult to track. The lack of documentation will make it difficult to prove that your employees did actually render in the necessary work.

As a result, you will not be able to bill your client properly. It’s either you charge too little or charge too much. Either way, it will speak volumes about your professionalism and reliability as a company. If this has happened to you, it’s probably time to consider using a time tracking application to help you improve your business processes.

Uses of time tracking applications

There is a wide selection of time tracking applications available in the market today, all of them designed to make recording and monitoring timesheets more efficient. More advanced features will often include adaptability to other systems and enough flexibility in order to be used efficiently across a wide range of employee types, tasks and projects.
